The project will include the replacement of lead water services in the City of Elgin. The proposed improvements consist of approximately 221 lead service line replacements from water main to interior water meter, contractor coordination with residents, PCC sidewalk removal and replacement, PCC curb and gutter removal and replacement, HMA pavement removal and patching, driveway removal and replacement, restoration, and all other appurtenant work required to complete the project in accordance with the specifications and all other applicable standards. Equipment (shovel, form boards, tarps, etc.) shall not lay abandoned for a period of more than 24 hours. The jobsite shall be maintained with a neat and orderly appearance. All equipment shall have rubber tracks.
