The City is seeking the services of a full-design firm who will be responsible for preparing conceptual designs for a one-lane round-a-bout that meets all current and applicable codes and standards, including but not limited to storm drain best management practices, regional water board, road/roundabout geometrics, highway design manual, etc. The City may negotiate to extend the scope of services to include preparation of the final construction and environmental documents. The consultant may be asked to participate in public meetings to share the final plans with the community and City Council. Bidding, construction support, addendums, requests for information, and submittal review may be required if the City chooses to extend the scope of services. The Consultant may use sub-consultants to provide specialty services. The Consultant shall provide legal descriptions and plat maps for right of way acquisitions. For the proposal, the Consultant shall assume right-of-way takings from two (2) parcels. The design firm will report to the City’s project manager (project manager) throughout the duration of the project. The scope of professional services to be provided shall include the completion of all tasks to deliver the project design on schedule, as well as other elements or modifications which may be suggested by consultants presenting proposals to better meet the needs of the City of Morgan Hill. A more detailed scope of services is attached as Exhibit “A”. All services shall be provided in accordance with the City’s Standard Consultant Agreement attached as Exhibit “C”.
