1. Vendor shall provide 24-bottle cases of 16.9-ounce bottles of purified drinking water bottled in twist-top plastic bottles. Bottled water shall be priced by the case and will be ordered by the pallet. 2. Final acceptance of materials purchased under this bid shall rest with the Polk County Fire Rescue Division. 3. Deliveries shall be made during the following hours: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. local time. 4. Supplies will be ordered on an as-needed basis. The County does not guarantee a minimum or maximum quantity. There is no minimum limit order. 5. Bottled water must be delivered on shrink-wrapped pallets. A dock and a forklift will be available to unload the bottled water at the delivery site. 6. The vendor shall make delivery within ten (10) business days of the order date. 7. The delivery shall be verified and signed for by a Fire Rescue Logistics employee at the time of the delivery. The packing slip or delivery ticket should include, at a minimum, but not limited to the following information: date of order; number of cases of bottled water being delivered, back ordered quantities.
