1. Must be licensed, insured, and bonded, proof must be provided within 10 days of tentative award notice 2. Chemicals must be biodegradable 3. All areas must be covered in plastic-hood must be wrapped 4. All water sprayed on hood must be funneled into waste container 5. Must use pressure washer 6. Cleaning must include interior hood, exhaust fan (on roof), pant leg duct, and vertical grease shaft (must be cleaned to bare metal) 7. All exposed stainless steel must be polished 8. All exposed floors and equipment must be cleaned when finished 9. A sticker must be placed on each hood documenting the company name and date of cleaning. 10. Exit reports and before and after date-marked photos must be provided for each school showing proof that all areas mentioned in #6 have been cleaned. These must be e-mailed to the director upon completion Dana.Bing@ccboe.net. Contractor to contact the School Nutrition Office for appointment scheduling. 11. Completed hood cleaning must be able to pass Columbia County Fire Department inspection. 12. A School Nutrition Designee must be present at each school site through the duration of the cleaning process. 13. Failure of the contractor to meet any appointment may result in immediate termination of the contract. 14. Unsatisfactory cleaning performance as reported by the School Nutrition Designee may result in immediate termination of the contract. 15. Bid is for cleaning all hoods. 16. Payment will be net 30, per invoice signed off as completed, by the School Nutrition Designee. 17. After contract is tentatively awarded, contractor must complete “General Contract for Services” to qualify for final award of the contract.
