The City of Madera is seeking qualified contractors to submit bids for the construction of a new public park, James Taubert Park, located at 1280 E. Olive Avenue, Madera, CA 93638. The park will be about 0.46 acre. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: • Demolition and Site Preparation • Providing Site Amenities & Features • Site Utilities • Concrete • Playground Equipment & Installation • Surfacing • Shade Structures • Planting & Irrigation • Drainage The project must be completed within 180 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All work shall be performed per the specifications and plans provided by the City and in accordance with applicable building codes. The Engineer’s Opinion of Cost for this project is $1,688,924.
