7.1 Scope of Services to be Performed The required services to be provided are as needed tire repair, brake system repair, and suspension system repair services for vehicle fleets upon request for Abilene State Supported Living Center (ABSSLC) fleet vehicles. Vehicles covered under this SOW may be added or removed during the contract term and as the sole discretion of the HHS Agency. You may see a list of current vehicles in Exhibit F vehicle inventory. All services shall be performed at the Contractor’s facility unless otherwise agreed upon, which must be located within 15 miles of the service location. Contractor shall perform services that may include but not limited to: a) Tire and Wheel Services 1. Provide as-needed tire rotations, balancing, and wheel alignments. 2. The Contractor shall provide all equipment and parts for tire repair. 3. The Contractor shall arrive on site for as-needed emergency tire repair and respond within (4) hours of notification. b) Brake System 1. Inspect and repair brake system, including pads, rotors, calipers, and brake lines. c) Suspension and Steering 1. Inspect and repair the suspension system, including shocks, struts, and control arms. 2. Address steering issues and perform wheel alignments. 3. Repair or replace ball joints, tie rod ends, rack and pinion, sway bar bushings, struts, sway bar bushings and other front-end components. d) Towing 1. As-needed towing from facility to Contractor’s location.
