Elections in Maricopa County (County) are overseen by both the Elections Department and the County Recorder. The Elections Department is responsible for candidate and campaign filings, in-person voting, vote centers, hiring of elections workers, and the processing and tabulation of ballots. The Recorder's Office is responsible for mail-in voting and voter registration. The intent of this solicitation is to engage a firm or firms to review Elections Department processes, including chain of custody, physical security, candidate filing compliance, temporary worker hiring and training, ballot drop boxes, and vote center selection and setup. The only election related procedures under the responsibility of the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office that will be included in this review is chain of custody.
