The City of Savannah is requesting proposals that include the resurfacing of various basketball courts and the replacement of existing pole, backboards and rims to meet contemporary city standards. Examples of contemporary standards can be seen at Daffin Park (1301 E. Victory Dr.) and Forsyth Park (14 W. Park Ave) (Attachment L). The requesting proposal needs to include the demolition and removal of the existing basketball poles and backboards, the installation of new surfacing, basketball goals including poles, backboards, and nets to match the current layout at each basketball court location. The dimensions of the court will vary and must be verified by the contractor to match the existing layout. The entire court will be covered with acrylic surfacing. The color of the basketball court will consist of two colors to be determined by Notice to Proceed (NTP). All lines, including 3-point arc, free throw line, center line, lines through the paint, center circle lines, and out of bounds lines being white in color.
