1. Prepare, sand, and clean all walls, ceiling, and trim (door, window, and baseboard) surfaces for painting. 2. Repair small holes, cracks, and blemishes. 3. *Library ceiling: Repair the drywall tape on the ceiling. Match the repair to the existing ceiling texture. 4. Cover desks, furniture, and floors with appropriate drop clothes and protection to prevent damage. 5. Ceilings: Apply one coat of oil-based bonding primer. Apply one coat of latex flat finish. 6. Walls: Apply two coats of scuff resistant eggshell finish. 7. Trim and Baseboards: Apply one coat of white primer. Apply one coat of semigloss white. 8. The ceilings will be “Super White,” and the walls will be standard available colors chosen by the Director of Recreation and Leisure Services.
