• The typical section for all mainline travel lanes will include asphalt milling at a depth of 3.5 inches, followed by the placement of 2 inches of 19 MM and 1.5 inches of 12.5 MM. • Typical sequence of operation - Mill 3.5 inches and place 2 inches 19 MM in same operation. Once all 19 MM is in place, then place 1.5 inches of 12.5 MM. • The typical section for all turn lanes will include asphalt milling at a depth of 1.5 inches, followed by the placement of 1.5 inches of 12.5 MM. • Traffic will be allowed to ride on milled surfaces for turn lanes only for the durations specified in bid documents. Mainline travel lanes can only be opened to traffic after the 19 MM is placed. • A Materials Transfer Vehicle (Shuttle Buggy) is required to be used for the placement of 12.5 MM. • Temporary paint striping pay items are included for all long lines and skip lines. • The cost to install temporary arrows, stop bars, crosswalks, etc. shall be included in price bid for other items. • The cost of Off-Duty Peace Officers shall be included in Traffic Control.
