Construction of a wood framed drinking water treatment facility with board and batten style metal siding, standing seam metal roof, and slab-on-grade foundation with a frost wall. The facility will be equipped with ancillary piping and chemical feed systems, two ion exchange vessels for PFAS removal, analyzers, VFD, electrical, lighting, heat pumps and unit heaters, propane water heater, half bathroom, laboratory bench and sink, and electrical room. Certain components of the ion exchange PFAS treatment system are furnished under a separate contract and are to be installed under this contract as shown on the design plans and described in these specifications. Project includes replacement of the vertical turbine pump in Fryeburg Water Company Well 2 and associated piping changes in the Well 2 building as shown on the design plans. Site work will include demolition of an existing garage building, grading, site piping, new buried fiber optic line and VFD cable, gravel driveway, propane tank, floor/sanitary drains and holding tank, drywell and underground electrical service as shown on the design plans.
