University Health is seeking a qualified Medical Physicist for a five-year contract to provide services across the entire Health System. This service is essential to meet state regulatory requirements, ensuring that all equipment producing ionizing radiation is safe for patients, physicians, and staff. The Medical Physicist will play a key role in maintaining compliance, conducting safety assessments, and overseeing radiation safety protocols throughout the organization. University Health produces approximately 500,000 imaging examinations per year including but not limited to; Diagnostic x-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, US, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab , Endoscopy Lab, Bronchoscopy Lab, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine.
