• The vendor shall respond and be in transit to the disabled County vehicle within one (1) hour of notification by the using agency unless an alternate time frame has been mutually agreed upon between Middlesex County and vendor. • Vehicle towing service shall be "Hook and Tow" method with the use of wrecker body(s) on Truck Chassis or by Flatbed (Roll-Back) wrecker. No tow bars or towing chains shall be permitted. • All towing rates shall include all applicable tolls and /or tariffs. • A minimum grace period of two (2) working days is required before a storage charge can be invoiced against the using agency. • The using agency shall pay only for towing while the tow vehicle is "Burdened": that is, when the disabled vehicle is on the hook or truck bed. No invoice shall be submitted for towing mileage when the wrecker has no vehicle in tow, such as when responding to a service call. Mileage shall be determined from the point at which the disabled vehicle is "Burdened" to the destination of the agency. • The vendor shall record the address or identify the location of the pick-up point on his bill or invoice.
