2.1 1st Floor - Lobby, Corridor, and Winding Staircase: 2.1.1 Dust all furniture and fixtures, including chairs, file cabinets, and window ledges. Clean, treated dust cloths shall be used daily. Paper on desks, filing cabinets, etc., are not to be disturbed. 2.1.2 Clean and chemically sanitize stairway handrails. 2.1.3 Damp clean and polish kick plates on doors. 2.1.4 All glass interior and exterior at entry way. 2.1.5 Clean interior windows. 2.1.6 Vacuum all rugs daily. 2.1.7 Non-carpet flooring: Remove gum and other foreign matter and damp mop using a neutral soap solution which does not injure floor. 2.1.8 Clean door handles with disinfectant. 2.1.9 Sweep staircase. 2.1.10 Clean chairs daily in lobby area with damp cloth. Reposition furniture as required and return waste baskets to proper positions. 2.1.11 Damp clean light switch panels. 2.2 1st Floor - Hallway at Rear Exit: 2.2.1 Clean front and back of double doors. 2.2.2 Clean exit door. 2.2.3 Wipe and dust mail shelves. 2.3 1st Floor - Public Restrooms and Break Room: 2.3.1 Wash and sanitize exterior of all dispensers, trash receptacles, and sanitary containers. 2.3.2 Sweep and mop all floors with disinfectant germicidal solution. 2.3.3 Clean and polish all glass and mirrors. 2.3.4 Clean, sanitize and polish all fixtures including toilet bowls, urinals and sinks. Toilet bowls and urinals shall be flushed with “bowl cleaner”, and all sinks, toilet bowls and urinals shall be kept free of scale at all times. 2.3.5 Clean and chemically sanitize all flush rings, drains, and overflow outlets. 2.3.6 The contractor shall perform the work to the extent necessary to ensure that each restroom is well kept and has no offensive odors. 2.3.7 Urinal deodorant blocks or screens shall be installed or replaced as needed or requested. 2.3.8 Clean and disinfect ice machine.
