1. Maximum of 38 cuts during the stated period on a roughly weekly basis, dependent on weather and actual need. 2. The Department of Forestry reserves the right to determine the total number of cuts required and the frequency based on actual need. 3. Trash pick-up shall be performed before mowing. 4. Grass shall be mowed and trimmed; grass shall be blown off parking lots & sidewalks. 5. Protection of any infrastructure/utilities and prevention of damage to tree trunks within the areas being mowed is required. 6. Trimmers or weed eaters shall be used around all trees, fence posts, light pole bases and other permanent fixtures to maintain a neat appearance. 7. Existing cultivated plants and shrubs must not be damaged. 8. Contractor must supply all necessary tools and fuel. 9. Contractor must provide a certificate of insurance with the Virginia Department of Forestry listed as an additional insured party. 10. The unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of alcohol or other drugs is strictly prohibited. 11. Any impairment or incapacitation from the use of alcohol or other drugs is strictly prohibited. 12. No firearms of any kind will be allowed on State Property, neither concealed nor open carry.
