The required services to be provided are Sensory Specialist Consultant Services for individuals of Austin State Supported Living Center. • The Contractor conducting this work shall meet stated minimum qualifications. • The Contractor must have experience and training in sensory processing disorders and working with individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD) living in group home institutional settings. • The Contractor must have experience performing sensory-based Occupational Therapy Assessments. • The Contractor must provide designed specific sensory programs for individuals. • The Contractor must create sensory program protocols for sensory items and activities. • The Contractor must be able to train staff on working with individuals with developmental disabilities using sensory tools. • The Contractor must construct indoor and outdoor sensory spaces. • The Contractor must be able to develop sensory group programs. • The Contractor must be able to fabricate sensory materials as needed consulting with multiple departments for screenings, modifications, and results of assessments.
