West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors invites qualified service provider for the described timber sale. The stand areas totals 27 acres (Figure 2). The two stands will be harvested as a partial harvest. The timber to be harvested from this area consists of both sawtimber and pulpwood size trees (see Table 1 and Table 2). The estimated volumes shown for the marked timber were determined from 100% tally (to a 10-inch top) for the entire 27 acres. The volumes were determined by applying the Doyle tree scale (volumes are not guaranteed). Some allowances were made for defect. Volumes from any additional trees, which must be harvested for the successful completion of this sale, will be determined using the same scale and form class and paid for at contract price.
