The Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD or District) is soliciting offers for the goods and/or services specified in this document. 1. Questions concerning this solicitation document should be addressed in writing to the Buyer's Email. 2. Questions must be submitted by the deadline to allow sufficient time for responses prior to receipt/opening date/time. 3. Responses to questions other than administrative questions will be provided to all potential offerors by means of an addendum to the solicitation Minimum requirements: • Proposals shall include only services the vendor directly provides and shall not include services that would be provided via a third-party agreement. • The proposal shall address a fully hosted districtwide call-out service that will allow the district to deliver a broad range of messages delivered in the home language of recipients through voice, SMS text (at least 280 characters), and email messages. • Access to the system should be available by central administration and by campus users to send automated notifications about attendance and prepared communications about events, meetings, alerts and emergencies, such as school closures. • There should be no hardware or software to install or be maintained by the district and should be delivered in an application service provider (ASP) model. Authorized school and district administrators should be able to access the service through standard web browsers, mobile apps, and/or touchtone telephones to send notifications to parent and staff groups. • Recipients are students and staff.
