I. INTRODUCTION/SUMMARY This contract is for the provision of semi-annual preventive maintenance services, repairs, and replacements on uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units and their associated battery systems at various County locations. The minimum requirements for this work are outlined in these specifications. This contract is intended to be a fullservice contract, including preventive maintenance, emergency calls, repairs, and replacements as needed. All labor and travel expenses should be included in pricing given. Replacement UPS systems are to be charged at cost. All other parts including batteries cannot exceed the markup on the Bid Schedule (10%). II. EQUIPMENT The following locations and UPS units and battery systems are covered under these specifications. The County reserves the right to add services and/or locations for UPS units during the contract period at a comparable rate to be mutually agreed upon by the County and the Contractor. The County also reserves the right to remove services at any location, or remove locations entirely, as needed. A.
