The Contractor shall be responsible for performing the following: a) Clean bottom with high pressure hose to remove all marine growth. b) Clean all bare spots to bright metal and prime with two applications of International #347 Aluminum primer or approved equal. c) Sand bottom lightly and clean with #126 Interlux Thinner or approved equal and apply two (2) applications of Trilux Black Anti Fouling Paint or approved equal. No Copper Base Paints permitted, must be aluminum compatible. d) Clean, prepare, and paint hull with one application of Marine White Semi-Gloss. e) Clean and inspect all thru hull fittings, sea stainers, and transducers. f) Replace all Zincs. g) Inspect Head for proper operation. h) Inspect exhaust on Port, Starboard, and Generator for Exhaust Leaks and advise. i) Untra-sonic or audio gauge from rub rail to bottom and Stern. j) Complete inspection of the operating hardware systems on the bottom of the boat such as shafts, propellars, packing glands, cutlass bearings, and all other bottom hardware. k) Inspect engines, transmissions, steering, and all controls for proper function and operation. l) Prepare Marine Condition and Compliance Survey. m) Any deficiencies or recommendations for additional work shall be reported to the MPA Fleet Manager at 410-633-1052. A written estimate for any additional work shall be submitted to the MPA Fleet Manager for review and approval. No additional work shall be performed unless approved by the MPA Fleet Manager. The allowance for any additional work is $30,000 (see Bid Form Item No. 3).
