The City of St. Augustine seeks a qualified Consultant to provide expert guidance and support in the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale and high-profile public events. The Consultant will work closely with staff and local stakeholders, incorporating feedback from working groups consisting of residents and local businesses to ensure that all aspects of the event are well planned, organized, and executed to the highest standards, while considering the impacts on residents, businesses, public safety, traffic, and the environment. The Consultant must demonstrate a proven track record in managing large-scale public events, including detailed planning and the ability to provide strategic solutions in response to complex challenges. They also should provide experience facilitating discussions and meetings with business and residential advisory committees.
