The Town of Swanzey (the Town) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms (Contractors) for the painting of the exterior of the following Town owned buildings: • Whitcomb Hall, located at 17 Main Street • Town Hall, located at 620 Old Homestead Highway • Golden Rod Grange Hall, located at 625 Old Homestead Highway All buildings are over 100 years old and assumed to contain lead paint. To submit a proposal interested contractors must participate in a site visit with the DPW Director. Depending on costs and available funds the Town may paint some, all, portions, or none of the buildings outlined or the Town may select different contractors for individual buildings. Any assumptions or discounts based on a contractor being selected to paint all three buildings should be clearly stated on the submission form.
