The contractor will remove bulky material from primary transportation routes and public property at the city's request. The City may direct the contractor to remove bulky materials located on private property when they create an immediate or continuing danger to public life, safety, and health. The City will establish and approve all areas where the Contractor will provide bulk removal services. The contractor must be able to respond to a bulk removal request from the City within twenty-four (24) hours of being contacted by the City. The contractor shall place compacted fill dirt in ruts or holes created by equipment during the removal of bulky materials and in other impacted areas that pose a danger to the public. The contractor will charge the City based on the rates agreed in the pricing matrix. The contractor will secure scale tickets for all disposal charges and present the paperwork to the City. The contractor will accumulate the scale tickets, create the invoices, and email them to the City monthly or upon the City's request.
