The CMAR contractor will be working and coordinating with a project team consisting of various Tempe staff, CourseCo golf course management, Tempe’s design consultant, and the KMGC Clubhouse design and construction teams, along with other consultants and/or agencies as necessary to complete the construction of the KMGC improvements. The irrigation contractor is expected to provide preconstruction and construction services for a complete replacement of the irrigation system and new irrigation areas. Services will include but are not limited to the following. • Participation in project meetings, including coordination with clubhouse design and construction projects. • Collaboration with the project team and Tempe water utility staff regarding reclaimed water use from the KWRF. • Review irrigation plans and specifications. • Provide recommendations on the replacement of the portion of the existing system that currently delivers potable water to the areas bordering the course. • Provide a detailed opinion of probable cost to construct that includes all constructionphase costs. • Identify crossings or conflicts with other existing utilities within the property and its surroundings. • Construct a full-scale new irrigation system that utilizes multiple water sources, irrigation controllers, a central control, etc. • Construct the irrigation system by taking into consideration tees, greens, fairways, landscaping, ponds, etc. • Properly locate all spray heads, lateral lines, mainline, valves, backflows, flow sensors, meters, etc. • Construct chilled drinking fountains with potable water lines and electrical connections. • Electrical upgrades as required to correct deficiencies impacting the irrigation system operations. • It will be imperative that the selected irrigation CMAR contractor stay within the total construction budget.
