A. See Contract Drawings for a complete understanding of demolition and construction scope. This list is generic in nature for major items and intended only to give an overview of the general project scope. B. See the Partial Site Plan and the Site Plan – Area of Work plan. C. Remove all Asphalt and Base in the Rear Parking Lot and Drive Lane “Area of Work”, as noted on the Drawing, titled; “ME-1_CANTON_MEP Site Plan - Area of Work”. D. Inspect, investigate, and confirm a former Underground water leak, at the rear Parking Lot remains dry from all underground water sources. (The area has eroded and pitted and appears as a large pothole on the surface. A former leak was repaired, and excepting rainwater, the ‘pothole’ should no longer be holding water). E. Excavate the subject ‘eroded and pitted pothole’ area, as needed to confirm a solid substrate for the new work. F. Install select sand, soils, and gravel, as needed, to back-fill the Excavation to a minimum of 98% density, in preparation of Concrete paving and finishing. G. Install a minimum of 5” of poured Concrete as described in subsequent S.O.W., to include all proper Steel Reinforcement at BOTH “Areas of Work”, noted on the Drawing, titled; “ME- 1_CANTON_MEP Site Plan - Area of Work”, re-paving those areas of work; all in Concrete. H. Install pavement striping per attached SOW, at the Area of Work and at all areas damaged by previous standing water and by the work of this project. I. ALL new Concrete is to slope–to–drain to the existing concrete flume at the north side of the parking area. J. Regrade the northbound end of the ‘flume’, 30 (+) feet to the north, to extend future parking lot drainage to adjoining, DPS Owned property.
