The project is located in downtown Austin and the site encompasses the existing 3-story MexicArte Museum that will be demolished and construct of an approximately 30,000 square feet, 4- story museum with functional first floor including, but not limited to, an entrance lobby, giftshop, loading area, gallery, and the required circulation and service spaces on the first floor. The Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) will be brought on early in the design phase for preconstruction services, such as design-phase cost control, constructability reviews, and construction phase services. The Construction Manager‐at‐Risk and the Design Consultant are both required to work together to recommend scope achievable with the available funding and schedule.
