The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) in order to solicit responses for a consolidated Point-of-Sale (POS) solution. The primary customers of this solution are the in-person DNR Customer Service Centers located at 13 different locations throughout the state. DNR is requesting information on product offerings regarding a centralized POS solution that reduces the dependency on manual processes and increases the automation and user experience including: • Company Information • Technical Information included Integration Capabilities • System Management and Administration • User Experience • Supplier Experience • Implementation Process • Reconciliation Processes (User, Location, Payment Mechanism) • Inventory Management • Reporting Generation • Product Terms and Licensing Options The main purpose of the RFI is to obtain current, detailed information regarding POS options to help adjust our operational platform and organizational strategy around in-person purchases at DNR Customer Service Centers.
