Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will perform the following tasks on a directed basis: 1. Phragmites australis treatment: Apply glyphosate to control the growth of Phragmites australis (Common Reed) to the extent possible along the shoreline of Indian Lake and/or Bell Pond. Application may be done in August through September. Price per acre. 2. Phragmites australis physical removal: Cut plant stalks with hand tools to arrest growth or remove treated plants to the extent possible along the shoreline of Indian Lake and/or Bell Pond. Stalks should either be removed and disposed of by the Contractor, or cut in such a way to biodegrade in place. Price per day. 3. Myriophyllum spicatum treatment: Apply spot treatments of diquat bromide to control growth of Myriophyllum spicatum (Eurasian Milfoil) in Indian Lake and/or Coes Reservoir. Price per acre. 4. Myriophyllum spicatum treatment: Apply florpyrauxifen-benzyl to control large acreages of Myriophyllum spicatum in Indian Lake and/or Coes Reservoir. Price per acre.
