To develop an efficient, clear, and sustainable curbside management system for the three Redmond Urban Centers that balance the needs of various curbside uses, including ridesharing, loading, and unloading zones, Outdoor Dining, city maintenance, commercial garbage collection, fire access, ADA parking spaces, deliveries, and vendors, planned bikeways, and time-limited parking for visitors. Task 0. Project Management • Conduct bi-weekly Project Management meetings. • Submit monthly invoices with progress reports identifying work completed against budget. • Develop a project Scope with Schedule and team member roles and responsibilities. Deliverables: • Scope, Schedule, and coordination meeting agendas and minutes. Task 1. Existing Conditions and Assessment • Review existing curbside use practices, highlighting where current practices are resulting in inefficient use of the curbside. • Collect data on existing curbside usage and adjacent land uses: o City will provide information from a parking study of the urban centers, expected to be completed in September 2025. Parking study will provide a report summarizing stakeholder feedback and recommended actions. o Level of data collection to be determined prior to commencing the work. • Review findings and determinations from parking study and coordinate with consultant as needed. • Review existing City policies and programs (i.e. Outdoor Dining) and identify needs for policy revisions. • Research best practices from other agencies and assess curb management technologies...
