Community Transit is seeking a comprehensive policy management solution to streamline the creation, approval, maintenance, and archiving of policies. The goal is to implement a centralized system that improves efficiency, enhances collaboration, ensures compliance, and supports automation. We are interested in exploring the development of a custom solution using SharePoint to meet our specific needs or a standalone policy management SaaS solution. This RFI aims to gather detailed information on potential vendors who can meet our requirements and help us identify the best solution for our needs via SharePoint solution or standalone policy management SaaS. We will be interested to understand which solution(s) can meet desired and required features and compare costs of both options. We currently use a shared drive file system to create and manage agency policy. We are in the process of migrating shared drives to SharePoint, which is planned to be complete by the end of 2025.
