The required goods to be provided are a pipette calibration system is required to ensure accurate and precise laboratory testing. The purchase is needed to allow calibration on all pipettes following CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988) regulations. Contractor is responsible to provide an agreement that is comprehensive and include the equipment cost, service maintenance cost and consumable items cost to operate the pipette calibration system. The RCLA is committed to providing state of the art and evidence based best practice instrumentation of the highest quality for the patients at the state hospitals and state supported living centers. Vendor must meet the following specifications: 1. Provide extremely high signal-to-noise ratio: high accuracy and precision even at extremely low volume measurements (100 nL) 2. Provide ease-of-use due to a minimum number of operational steps 3. Provide economy of operation due to broad dynamic range and application of unique ratiometric measurement process 4. Provide speed in operation resulting from a unique calculation algorithm 5. Ability to perform a 10-data-point calibration complete with documentation in less than 3 minutes. 6. Ability for a built in scanner makes it easy to recall pipette history and identify reagents 7. Provide system with complete documentation, data management including audit trail, and facilitates compliance to 21 CFR Part 11 8. Calibration method is compliant to ISO 8655-7].
