II. Scope of Work: The selected vendor will be responsible for providing and installing a complete commercial washer and dryer system. The following specifications must be met: 1. Capacity: The system must be capable of handling a daily loads of laundry for 272 inmates, including bedding, clothing, and other linens. 2. Durability: The equipment must be built to withstand frequent use in a correctional facility and be resistant to tampering or misuse. 3. Efficiency: We are looking for a system that is energy-efficient, conserves water, and minimizes utility costs. 4. Compliance: The equipment must comply with all relevant safety and environmental regulations. 5. Maintenance: The vendor should provide a maintenance plan or service contract to ensure the continued optimal performance of the system. 6. Delivery and Installation: The proposal should include details on delivery, installation, and setup. 7. Training: Provide training for jail staff on the proper use and maintenance of the equipment. 8. Removal and disposal of existing units, see photos included in Attachment C
