Bi-weekly mowing shall be completed on either the first and third or second and fourth week of the month. • Mowing can be done Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 pm. • Mowing height to be 3.5 - 4 inches or as otherwise requested by site manager. • Grass clippings are to be blown off roadways, sidewalks, entry ways and any other surface they are discharged onto during each mowing. • Contractor shall mow a 10 ft. wide strip along the outside of the west and south fence line at the Water Treatment Facilities. Contractor shall mow a 10 ft. wide strip along the east side of the east fence line of the Earth Centre and on the west side of the west fence line of Material Recovery Facility on each mowing. • Vegetation below all chain link fences, next to all buildings, appurtenances, obstructions, ponds and structures at all sites shall be trimmed at the time of each mowing. The City will allow herbicide spray to kill or retard vegetation along the chain link fence at the Water Treatment Facilities, Earth Centre, MRF, and HES sites only, in lieu of trimming. The cost of the herbicide or trimming shall be incidental to the mowing cost at each site.
