The Eagle Harbor Drive Safety Improvements portion of the project focuses on constructing bicycle facilities on both sides of Eagle Harbor Drive. These facilities will transition between a paved shoulder, a buffered bike lane, and a vertically protected bike lane. Additionally, the project will construct an approximately 200-foot bike lane extension in the vicinity of 6391 Eagle Harbor Drive. The Wyatt Way Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Improvements portion of the project aims to enhance safety for non-motorized users. Key components of this project include: Widening the bike lane on the north side of the roadway, with some segments buffered and others protected. Installing a new pedestrian crossing east of Finch Road NE with a refuge island. Intersection improvements at Wyatt Way NW and Finch Road NE, including lighting and bike crossing striping. New shared-use path south of the roadway between Ashbury Court and the new crossing, and north of the roadway between the new crossing and Finch Road NE.Overall, the goal of these projects is to improve safety for non-motorized users along Eagle Harbor Drive and Wyatt Way.
