The proposed project officially known as Deerbrook Drive Reconstruction consists of full depth pavement removal and reconstruction of the roadway with new porous asphalt pavement and curb and gutter system for the entirety of Deerbrook Drive. The project area comprises approximately 3,000 linear feet of improvements starting at the intersection of W. Deerbrook Drive with Knoxville Avenue (IL Route 40) to its termination in a cul-de-sac. Associated stormwater improvements include new drainage infrastructure consisting of standard and modified inlets and manholes, underdrains, piping, and outfall gabion structures. Porous concrete panels will also be installed for the pedestrian sidewalks. Standard full depth asphalt pavement transitions will be installed at the intersections with Oakwood Drive, Buckskin Court, Wilderness Drive, Brookhaven Court, Antler Place, Quail Lane, and Tall Oaks Lane.
