Sarpy County is seeking qualified firms for the evaluation and design of a Clean Agent Fire Suppression System to be installed in the Sarpy County Correctional Center (the new jail). The County is seeking to have the identified Areas, Exhibit A, of the Jail evaluated for a System. The firm may also be asked to identify other spaces within the Jail that should also be protected. The Project will involve the selected firm presenting the options for a System to the County along with their recommendation for the System. Options and recommendations should include data supported findings that enhance and increase equipment survivability and long-term cost savings. Options and recommendations for a System will necessarily include a cost-analysis for installation and long-term operation. The selected firm will provide bidding documents to the County for the solicitation and installation of the System. The Project will also include the recommendation and design for the removal or rendering safe the wet fire sprinkler systems in these Areas.
