1. MATERIAL: 1.1. Raeford Mills style #573-590, 11 to 11.5 oz. 3 ply Tropical weave, 55% Dacron/Polyester/45% Wool. Dark green color. Shoulder straps and pocket flaps to be piped with style 573-437, taupe color. Cloth shall be stamped with Kaumagraph stamp identifying the mill. 2. STYLE 2.1. Modified Military Officers Style with piped shoulder straps and pocket flaps. 3. FRONT 3.1. Left front shall have a top center placket one and one half (1 ½) wide with four (4) rows of stitching with inside stitching 7/8 inch apart. Placket to be interlined with poly-cotton canvas and have seven (7) buttonholes. Facings are to be merged with one eight (1/8) inch narrow gauge over lay stitch with eleven (11) stitches per inch. 4. ZIPPER FRONT 4.1. With a functional fifteen (15) inch brass zipper (nylon or plastic is not acceptable) with locking feature. The front shall contain one (1) functional buttonhole at top for attached plastic button, then five (5) non-functional buttonholes and lastly one (1) functional button at bottom below zipper with round matching button attached. All non-functional buttonholes to be cut one quarter (1/4) inch to accept metal button shank. A button guard to be fastened from the bottom of collar to below second buttonhole. 5. BADGE TAB 5.1. Badge tab to be made with same cloth measuring two and one quarter (2 ¼) inch long and one (1) inch wide, with two (2) black metal eyelets set one and one quarter (1 ¼) inch apart. Badge tab to be set one (1) inch above left pocket flap. 6. BACK 6.1. Yoke to finish four (4) inches below collar seam at point, double stitched. Yoke is to be one piece and lined with matching 70 denier nylon taffeta. 7. COLLAR 7.1. Dress collar fastened with a single button and measure three (3) inches long at points. Collar approximately one and one half (1 ½) inches high at back after turn down. Collar opening shall be three quarter (3/4) inch and allow room for a tie. Collar and neckband to be interlined with poly-cotton canvas. Permanent plastic collar stays to be slanted in collar so not to show stitching on top or bottom of outer leaf. Neckband to be lined with matching 70 denier nylon taffeta and finished with two (2) rows of stitching. Collar opening shall be three quarter (3/4) inch and allow room for a tie.
