GENERAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT 3.3.1 Monochrome production printer (hereafter referred to as “Device”) must be sheetfed. 3.3.2 Device must form images on paper by toner-based electrophotography. 3.3.3 Device must be able to print, copy and scan and must include all parts, boards and internal software necessary to do so. 3.3.4 Device must be able to print and photocopy at a minimum speed of 95 pages per minute at 8-1/2” x 11” page size. 3.3.5 Device must have a rated duty cycle of at least 1-million pages per month. 3.3.6 Device must offer print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi or higher. 3.3.7 Device must be able to print on recycled paper having 30% postconsumer waste content without difficulty. NH State law requires the use of recycled paper whenever possible. 3.3.8 Device and all its subsystems and parts must be brand new. No demos, refurbished, remanufactured or used equipment allowed. 3.3.9 Device must not be a discontinued model or a model no longer in production at the time of bid submission. 3.3.10 Device must have demonstrated reliability in the U.S. market for at least one year. 3.3.11 Device must be Energy Star® or Rohs compliant and feature automatic power saving modes to conserve power when printer has not been active for a period of time. 3.3.12 Device must have or be provided with sufficient dedicated surge protection to protect against substantial power surges...
