This solicitation intends to establish a pool of contracts for services related to a broad range of ecosystem management practices seeking to restore and maintain healthy forested and non-forested ecosystems at multiple sites on City of Seattle-owned, City-managed, and publicly owned properties. The nature and extent of specific management practices required, and site accessibility will vary from site to site. Given the broad geographic range of work locations and work categories, contractors may bid on work sites and work categories for which they would like to be considered, and the City of Seattle may issue multiple blanket contracts through this solicitation. Various departments of the City may choose contractors that have a blanket contract with the City. Qualifications will be evaluated by work category. The purchases from the pool of contracts will be made using funds from two federal grants. One grant supports creation of the Delridge Native Forest Garden and the second supports continued restoration of forested parks in the Beacon Hill neighborhood managed by Seattle Parks and Recreation as part of the Green Seattle Partnership This pool does not replace approve blanket vendors in the existing Ecosystem Stewardship and Restoration agreement (ITB PK0-5416 from 2021). Instead, this pool meets federal purchasing requirements specific to these grant funds.
