The proposed project would renovate and reconfigure approximately 15,000 SF of existing pharmacy spaces throughout the Ronald Reagan Hospital to remain compliant with regulatory requirements for the California State Board of Pharmacy, accommodate the expansion of Intravenous Additive Service (IVAS) pharmacy, and consolidate satellite pharmacies through centralization to increase operational efficiency. The renovated spaces would provide United States Pharmacopeia (USP800) storage, a hazardous drug compounding room, along with the addition of new equipment for Automated Dispensing Systems (ADS), and centralized pharmacy services. The construction cost for the project has not yet been determined and is dependent upon phasing. The work may be executed in several incremental projects.
