Re-seal all windows on the Makai side of the building: • thoroughly clean the area around the window frame. • apply a bead of high-quality sealant along the gaps between the glass and frame. • smooth out the sealant with a specialized tool to press the sealant along the gaps between the glass and frame. • for more complex repairs, the contractor may need to replace the entire weather stripping depending on the damage. 2. Clean all repaired windows. B. Window Repairs – Kakuhihewa (Kapolei SOB) Building 1. Reseal all windows on the southwest side (facing the parking lots) of the building: • thoroughly clean the area around the window frame. • apply a bead of high-quality sealant along the gaps between the glass and frame. • smooth out the sealant with a specialized tool to press the sealant along the gaps between the glass and frame. • for more complex repairs, the contractor may need to replace the entire weather stripping depending on the damage. 2.
