To remove and dispose of existing flooring where necessary and/or determine suitability to install new flooring over existing flooring material. Prepare substrate as necessary for selected new flooring material. Install selected LVT/LVP material. Install glue-on cove base to same areas. Install any necessary transition pieces. Install a 6-mil plastic vapor barrier under installation on the ground floor only, of the building. Material Specs: Glue down LVT/LVP will have a minimum of 3mm thickness and minimum 20 mil wear layer. Floating LVT/LVP will have a minimum of 5mm thickness and a minimum 20mm wear layer Vendor Responsibilities: • Verify all measurements and material needs • Supply flooring style and design options within the bid price. We are seeking a stone, tile, or sheet vinyl look in hallways. All styles are considered in dorm rooms. • Supply written manufacturer warranty information and product specification sheets from the manufacturer for products specified. • Finishing installation within stated deadlines • Separate line-item pricing for furniture moving • Separate line-item pricing for potential floor repairs, outside of the expected scope of work
