The Firm is to provide the Owner with a best value design approach to meet the anticipated needs of our athletic spaces. Key Features to Include in the Stadium Field Design: i. Convert natural grass field to a multisport synthetic turf field ii. Provide adequate drainage on, around, and beneath field iii. Add field lighting, access lighting, and security lighting iv. Replace field equipment (Goal posts, goals, and other equipment) v. Relocate and reconstruct track & field events (long/triple jump, shotput and other events) vi. Continue 4’ fencing around the full perimeter of the track vii. Ball/safety netting along end lines viii. Drinking fountains/filling station ix. Selective clearing for maintenance buffer around perimeter fencing x. Replace bleachers (For both home & away on opposing sides of the field or keep combined) xi. Replace Press box (to allow for sound system & streaming) xii. Renovate Athletic Building xiii. New/additional storage buildings xiv. Provide ADA compliant access and spectator viewing xv. Construction/maintenance access plan to protect track surface and underdrains. Provide future access for heavy maintenance equipment. xvi. Assess the condition and functionality of the existing scoreboard and recommend repairs/updating or full replacement
