The City of Ormond Beach is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive survey that will allow the City of Ormond Beach to prioritize their upgrades to the most severe sections. This survey will facilitate the City of Ormond Beach, to maintain compliance with the FDEP requirements Section 62-600.705(2)(a), F.A.C. ruling. This ruling requires 25% of the sanitary sewer collection system be investigated within a five-year period for excessive I & I conflict. This will be an ongoing program. Such conflicts can include cracks or breaks in the piping, cross-connection with storm systems, faulty lateral connections, tree root penetration, and degrading manhole structures. The intended method to develop this survey is through CCTV Inspections, Manhole Inspections, and Smoke Testing the mains and laterals.
