The City of Elizabeth including, but not limited to City Hall, Elizabeth Fire and Police Department are requesting proposals from qualified individuals and firms to serve as a Psychologist. The contractor will work in conjunction with the Business Administrator, the Fire and/or the Police Director and/or their respective/ designated staff and may be required to perform the following services, which includes, but are not limited to: 1. Evaluation of prospective and or current City of Elizabeth Employees, recruits, new hires for Emergency Medical Services and Fire and Police Department and present Fire and Police Department personnel; 2. Fitness for duty examinations; 3. Evaluation of personnel after traumatic events; 4. Any other psychological treatment or evaluation that is deemed necessary and appropriate by City of Elizabeth supervisory personnel; 5. Testimony and/or preparation of reports, and appearance/s at trial, civil service hearings, or disciplinary proceedings.
