The expectation is that work will begin in 2025 and be finalized in 2026. All homes will undergo an interior and exterior assessment by the BN field team to determine along with the homeowner what home repairs are most essential or beneficial. Home repairs will require approvals of BN and the homeowner. The specific repairs requested under this contract include foundation repair services, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, plaster, drywall, paint, roofing, porches, siding, asphalt, windows, doors, and insulation. Each house will vary as to what the repair is. BN wants the selected vendor to help determine the most cost-effective way to repair each home. Repairs may include: i. Foundation a. Repair a crack, grind out and tuck point. b. Open up concrete cover over an excavation. Saw cut concrete and replaced with new concrete 4” thick, to include: c. Excavate 1-4’ deep along the perimeter of the house. Remove spoils, replace with pea gravel backfill. d. Excavate 5-8’ deep along the perimeter of the house.
