Fencing at the Riverton City Rodeo Arena. Fencing will be divided into two parts. The City may award only one part and do the other part in-house, depending on budget. Please price each part separately. The plans shows precast fencing and also tubular steel fencing and gates. This quote is only for the tubular steel fencing and gates. Part 1: Quote to install 6' tubular steel fencing, as per the attached plans. There is ~150 linear feet of tubular steel fencing in the plan. The City has and will provide the tubular steel fencing panels, 5' 5" high x 7' 6" wide. The selected contractor will need to provide the posts, labor and all material needed to install the panels. the plans show, some panels install into precast concrete pillars. The panels are not to be installed into the precast pillars, a steel post will need to be placed next to the precast pillar. The fencing contractor will need to put in a weld plate or put in the post the same time the footing is poured for the precast pillar. The precast fencing will be installed the last week of March. Posts are to be 2.5" square posts .25" thickness, powder coated black. Option 2: Furnish and install the following gates, as per the attached plans: 2 each - 6' H x 4' W single tubular steel gates. 2 sets - 6' H x 16' W double tubular steel gates (each gate is ~8' wide). 1 set - 6' H x 12' W double tubular steel gate (each gate is ~6' wide); Outside frame of each gate is to be 2" x 2" x 1/8" square tube. Pickets are to be 3/4" x 16 gauge steel, spaced every 4" and are to be welded on the front of the gate frame, not punched in the frame. Pickets can be square cap or crimped, both are acceptable. Each gate is to have a diagonal tension rod. Hinges need to be D&D CI3500 Heavy Duty. Double gates are to be mounted on an 8" x 8" x .25" square post. Single gates are to be mounted on a 6" x 6" x .25" square post. Each post is to have a cap. All gates and posts are to be powder coated black. Gates that are going to be mounted next to the precast posts, the contractor will need to put in the post the same time the footing is poured for the precast pillar. Single gates that are going to be installed next to the precast posts will need to put in a post on each side of the gate (post for the hinge side and post for the lock side)
