The Poplar Bluff School District (District) is seeking sealed proposals from highly qualified firms or individuals (Service Provider) for the PEST MANAGEMENT OF ALL PROPERTIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE POPLAR BLUFF R-1 SCHOOL DISTRICT. This Request for Proposals for Pest Management shall be referred to as RFP PM 2025 for the remainder of this document. RFP PM 2025 shall include, at a high level of expertise, all aspects of PEST MANAGEMENT. Service Providers taking place in RFP PM 2025 will strictly adhere to the following: 1. The DIRECTOR OF BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS for the Poplar Bluff R-I School District shall act as the project manager. In his absence, the Maintenance Supervisor will serve as the interim Project Manager. 2. All matters of PEST MANAGEMENT (RFP PM 2025) will be fully disclosed to the DIRECTOR OF BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS or in his absence to the MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR for the Poplar Bluff R-I School District. 3. Only chemicals and pesticides approved by the FDA and EPA will be used in the prosecution of RFP PM 2025 for use in SCHOOL SETTING. Any misrepresentation of chemicals, pesticides, traps, or any other peripherals shall result in immediate termination of any contract. An up-to-date catalog of chemicals and products and their SDS sheets will be provided to the DIRECTOR OF BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS and be maintained at all times. 4. Absolutely no substitutions of lesser quality will be accepted or considered. 5. All City, County, State, and Federal Regulations/ laws will be followed by the Service Provider 6. All personnel who work for the Service Provider will be required to pass a background check to ensure the safety of the Students and Staff of the District. The Service Provider will pay for the cost of this background check. The information obtained from the background checks will be provided to the Human Resources Superintendent for the District. 7. Both the Service Provider and the District have the option to terminate any contract if given a 30 day notice for inability to perform services or no satisfactory work.
