The awarded contractor will be responsible for: 3.1 Transit Operations Management Overseeing daily transit operations, including scheduling and route optimization. Managing transit personnel, including drivers and support staff. Ensuring timely service and adherence to transit schedules. 3.2 Fleet Management Implementing maintenance and repair programs to ensure vehicle safety. Monitoring fleet utilization and optimizing vehicle assignments. Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. 3.3 Compliance & Reporting Ensuring adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local transit regulations. Preparing and submitting required reports on ridership, maintenance, and performance metrics. Implementing and maintaining safety programs, including driver training and accident prevention. 3.4 Customer Service & Public Engagement Providing customer service support, including handling complaints and inquiries. Developing public awareness campaigns to encourage transit use. Implementing accessibility improvements for persons with disabilities. 3.5 Technology Integration Utilizing software solutions for scheduling, dispatching, and fleet tracking. Implementing real-time passenger information systems. Enhancing digital payment and ticketing systems.
