The Consultant shall provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for District 3 –Thomaston, which are required for contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for the construction projects assigned to the Thomaston, Columbus, Perry, Macon, and LaGrange Area Offices. Some of the projects may require night and weekend inspection. The project types may include new construction, widening and reconstruction, rehabilitation of asphalt and concrete pavement, bridge replacement, Safety, and resurfacing. The selected firm will be expected to provide an estimated (Eighty-Five) 85 full time equivalent employees from the job descriptions and qualifications of personnel below who will perform the work. Actual number of employees and qualifications required will be dependent on the workload required to meet the inspection needs of assigned projects. Personnel information should include professional registrations (type, number, and state(s) where registered, construction engineering and inspection, traffic control, and erosion control experience on highway and bridge construction projects, and GDOT or other State Highway Agency experience. Failure to meet this requirement will be considered “nonresponsive” and the entire submittal will be rejected. Resumes in numbers greater than required will not be considered in the evaluation.
